What is the Game Ready® system?

Game Ready® combines circulating cold therapy with intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC). The system uses anatomically designed wraps to deliver controlled cold and gentle, cyclical compression to the affected area.

This dual-action approach is designed to:

  • Reduce post-injury or post-surgical swelling

  • Help manage pain

  • Support recovery of movement and function

The unit allows clinicians or users to adjust temperature and compression settings according to comfort and clinical guidance.

How does it work?

Cold therapy helps slow local blood flow, which can reduce swelling and pain after injury or surgery.

Intermittent compression gently moves fluid away from the treated area, supporting lymphatic drainage and reducing stiffness.

Combined effect may be more effective than ice or compression alone for managing inflammation in the early and subacute phases of recovery.

All you need to know...

Clinical and sports medicine research supports the use of cold therapy and intermittent pneumatic compression for:

  • Reducing post‑operative and post‑traumatic swelling
  • Decreasing pain scores in the early recovery phase
  • Improving comfort and tolerance compared with traditional ice packs
  • Supporting earlier return of movement when used as part of a structured rehabilitation plan

While recovery outcomes vary between individuals, combined cold and compression therapy is widely accepted as a useful adjunct to physiotherapy and medical care — not a replacement for it.

  • Simple digital controls
  • Clear temperature and compression settings
  • Designed for home use with minimal setup
  • Full instructions provided on delivery

We ensure each unit is professionally cleaned, checked, and tested before and after every rental.

  • Game Ready® control unit
  • Appropriate wrap(s) for the treated body area
  • Power supply
  • User instructions
  • Delivery to your address
  • Return label for smooth return at the end of the rental period

Game Ready® is generally well tolerated, but it may not be suitable for everyone.

You should seek medical advice before use if you have:

  • Circulatory disorders or vascular disease
  • Cold hypersensitivity
  • Reduced sensation in the treated area
  • A history of deep vein thrombosis (DVT)

Always follow recommended treatment times and settings.

Game Ready® works best when combined with:

  • Physiotherapy or guided rehabilitation
  • Prescribed exercise programmes
  • Medical or surgical follow‑up care

We are happy to liaise with your physiotherapist or consultant if required.

This service provides access to recovery technology and does not replace medical
diagnosis or treatment.
